Hello, I would just like to try VB. I've tried Python; too easy and C++: too difficult/abstract for a beginner.
What I'd like to ask is: Do I need to buy VB? And if I don't, where can I find a good tutorial?
Thank You.

You need to buy VB in the sense that you need to buy the IDE/compiler, because VB is Microsoft propietry. But I believe Microsoft provides a free version of the IDE/compiler; I do not know about VB but for VB.NET (they are not the same), you can try Visual Basic 2005 Express. Alternatively, you can try Java!
Correct me if I'm wrong, because I'm not too sure if Visual Basic 2005 Express supports VB 4/5/6.
Well indeed, http://msdn.microsoft.com/vbasic/learning/ here you can find a link to the free version of VB.
I'll give it a try, thanks
