Trying to start a matrimony platform and don't want to make the usual mistakes. Here's what people keep telling me to watch out for:

  • Cheap platforms that can't do horoscope or community matching properly
  • Skipping profile checks, fake profiles ruin trust fast
  • No way for parents to browse profiles too
  • Weak moderation when people report bad content
  • No app, just a website
  • Can't customise matching for your community
  • Payments that break as more users join

Looking at Best Dating Scripts for matrimony right now, seems to handle most of this already. Still checking what else I should ask about before deciding.

You can't do horoscope matching properly because astrology is BS. Unless by matching you mean, "You believe this nonsense? So do I."
