hiii ..
i need help in my server client program by which client n server can communicate to each other like chat server but at present it works just on LAN ...im using WINSOCK n i need to enter IP of the server to create connection between client n server..now will it be possible that by this i will be able to send messages to any other PC which is not on the same network ..i mean to say that PC is not on the LAN but having internet connection.............plz help me ?? reply as soon as possible.................................................

how do i build a server that can work over lan or wan or internet.
