Is Crystal Reports worth learning? What are its advantages over creating my reports manually (using tables and a charting library...)???

It's so easy, Crystal Reports used in complex reports and it makes life easier for you, some styles and so on

Does it access the database tables directly??? Or it can be used with my business logic layer classes?
