Hey. any help wud be greatly appreciated. I have just tranferred into the second year of a multimedia course in which they have been doing python programmes. Problem is i have never programmed anything before and have been asked to complete this assignment.:( i dont even know what it is saying so any help at all would be great! i will attach a scan of the assignment.

Yeah, I can't read the large version of the scan either. I would recommend talking to the TA for the class immediately, because this will only be the beginning.
In the meantime, you might check out a beginning Python book. Zelle is good, and Dawson is easy.
