Hello. I am a beginner at using Java. When getting Java set up, I had trouble with my path. It was my own fault for not reading. I put my Java path at the beginning instead of the end. When I was told to put it at the end, I erased it from the beginning and put it at the end, however I also erased something else at the beginning of my path.

My computer runs fine (Luckily), but I cannot get the cmd box to come up when I try to execute my java code.

I have a vista. I would like to know how to get my path back to it's default setting. I have tried using restore points, but they don't go back far enough. I asked a friend if they would fix it, but because they don't have a vista, they said they will need to see another vista path.

If someone is running Java on a Vista and wouldn't mind sharing their path, and wouldn't mind sharing it, that would be great. Otherwise, if anyone has any solutions to how I can fix my problems with my path and my cmd box, it would be a lot of help. Thanks
