Hey, how're you doing today? My name is Robb Moceri and I have been working on a website for somebody and I ran into a very complicated problem(complicated on my end), and seriously cannot find the answer.
Like I said, I am working on a site... they wanted me to create just a simple html template for them. Then they tell me its gonna be used as a php template, which I am not familiar with... but I pasted in the php tags all the same, so it exactly mirrors their old template. The problem is, obviously, is that the filetype is .tpl. And I can't for the life of me find a way to creat a .tpl.
I tried saving it as a template in dreamweaver, but it saves it as a .dwt and not .tpl. I tried using a text editor to just save it as a .tpl. My computer opens it in dreamweaver when I double click it, so at least my computer recognizes it. but their server doesn't.... one thing I did notice is that their old .tpl was only 9 kb, my new one saved at like 24kb, so something isn't right! So could you possibly either tell me how to save that code as a .tpl, or possibly even do it for me if its simple enough? I am in a real tight spot... thanks!
