How to create loginpage?

Hi to all,

I am beginner in .net.Now i have developed one simple project in webapplication using c#.how to create login page and validate the
username and pasword.And only authorized person is to access
another aspx form.and how to retrieve the username and password.
At runtime how to type username and password?

if so just use the login controls and set permissions through the asp.net configuration(look for the picture of a hammer and globe in the solution explorer)
