Hi,
I read this thread:

http://www.daniweb.com/forums/thread130342.html#

and I was wondering if the same thing is possible using notepad instead of word. I know on Mac text edit can open any word doc and with save as you can convert it to text format. I don't see that option in notepad since doc files are opened with weird charaters. But word pad is able to open doc files and with the save as, saves them as text, so if it is not possible to use the same script in the above thread with notepad can it be used with wordpad???

thank you in advanced for your replys

What on earth are you asking for here? Re-format txt files as something else? Notepad will save as plain text files. You can change the extension, but it will still be text.
