Google Maps Control in ASP.NET

I think maybe this is the right thread for it since i found out Google map control can be created using AJAX.

so the question is simple, How to create Google Maps Control ?
preferably in an ASP.Net environment.

Found a source code here (GNU licensed) but it's too complex to give me any help :s

This thread has a link to a rar file. I've tried to make it self explanatory by adding lots of comments. It's just html/js, so creating a custom control for asp.net is not covered.
