Please I want to kow how can I add and display number of visitor to my web site if I use VWD2008 (ASP.net) and SQL Express2005 and how can I save this number in the database table to safe it from lost when the server is shutdown;
I am very gratful to your help

in general cases we use Application variable and
as the user moves into the site.
application variable updates and viceversa we update the
database which keep the track of count
also send email to Admin at the time of server shutdown
