Im *trying* to design a webpage for my work (a haulage company).
I want our drivers to be able to plot out their trip (same way you can do on Google maps) and then for people to be able to log in and say they are in a certain post code and for the webpage to be able to reply and say there are trucks travelling past that way (within a certain amount of KMS)....
If i use the online google api i can deterim how far away in kms a customer is from a certian post code. but this will take up lots of bandwidth etc so will be very slow..
can i get an offline api for this or does anyone have any suggestions how i would do it?
