can you please help me guys..
i just wanted to start practicing phpandmysql and my only problem is the apache,php, and mysql

1. i tried to install the apache 2.2.17 to my computer and the installation was successful.
i tried to browse the localhost to my web browser and it seems that everything is fine.

2. i tried to install the php-5.3.4 and i followed some procedures that i find on the
internet. installation was successful but when i tried to restart the apache theres
always a pop up windows appeared on my screen and say "an unhandled win32 exception
occurred in httpd.exe [592]".

Id tried my best to fixed it but no luck at all.. .
Ive been done re-installation and what so ever but still no luck at all.

I am using windows XP

can you please help me with my problem guys.. .
i will appreciate all the help from you.

or can this one help.

It sounds as if you are trying to install each one individually. There are a number of packages that install everything for you. Xampp, Wamp, Uniform Server, EasyPHP. Probably easier to start over using one of these.

on Windows WAMP server is the best option ... or even if use an IDE for PHP like NuSpherePHP or something...they come bundled with PHPand MYsql too and run their own servers..
best idea is installing wamp though !

WampServer is too old now. No update since a very long time. Almost two years.
Try EasyPHP (www.easyphp.org). It's up to date with the last version of PHP (5.3.4) an Xdebug.
And they have a very easy system of modules with Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla...
