Absolute Controls

Hi friends,
I wanted to add a calendar as a pop up while pressing a button and the selected date should be loaded in the text box.The calendar should be an absolute control.My ultimate aim is to save the space by using a calendar that overlaps the other controls.

Thanks for the suggestion.
Would it be possible to implement it without using ajax controls.I am in need of a simple java script solution.

You can check this, but I like the ajax control after using many date controls, it is fast easy to use and light weight. Else you can google the date control, there are plenty of free open source control.
