Please tech gurus Help me !

Please help me urgent iam total newbie in MySQL and in PHP actually i want to auto generate user id if gender male selected in radio button
than user id will be m00001,m00002,m00003..... like this, if gender female selected in radio button than user id will be f00001,f00002,f00003..... lke this

any help please ! after google past two days i created below code it not working currectly after signup user id is not creating.

Show your table structure too.

If I would do this, I'd use an auto ID column, a gender field (F/M) and an integer column. You can generate your id by using the last two fields combined.

I asked for your (database) table structure, not your code. But as I said, just add the two columns, and in your output combine them.

You already have gender, so just add an 'id' column (integer), which you can easily increment.

iam getting errors with this incriment code please give me incriment code of LoginID based on gender

assign a default value to login id like this '10000' and then next time u can incriment it by 1

eg: loginId = loginId + 1 in your querry...
