i want to upload file like exe file of an software from admin to database and download it from front end...plz help me out...

Tell us more. You want to actually store the file itself in the DB? Or do you just need to store it in an uploads directory and have a reference to it in the DB?

Which tutorials have you used so far - didn't any of them work? Tizag's is pretty standard.
