Hey everyone,
I've been developing a vertical SaaS platform (Platform V2 / 570Photos) built specifically for independent creative studios and photography businesses.
The main pain point with existing CRM and studio management tools is visual clutter: deep navigation hierarchies, endless submenus, and spreadsheet-like interfaces that get in the way of high-frequency tasks (intakes, contracts, shoot tracking, and delivery vaults).
To solve this, we completely tore down the rigid dashboard layout and rebuilt it as a modular, drag-and-drop "Studio OS" canvas.
What's Under the Hood:
Backend: Laravel 12, PHP 8.2, MySQL running on Debian bare metal via Proxmox LXC.
Canvas & State: Lightweight modular widgets utilizing SortableJS with layout state dynamically persisted to JSON tenant preference stores.
Orchestration: Integrated conversational assistant (Pims Copilot) handling quick studio queries and workflow staging.
Pipeline: Direct one-touch actions for client onboarding, contracts, retainers, and proofing vaults.
Live Demo Access
I’ve spun up a live sandbox demo instance and would love some feedback from fellow devs and UX enthusiasts:
Demo URL: https://demo.570photos.com/login (or /admin)
Studio Admin Account:
Email: demoadmin@570photos.com
Password: DemoPass2026!
Client Portal View (Optional):
Email: democlient@570photos.com
Password: DemoPass2026!
What I'd Love Feedback On:
UI / UX Flow: How does the canvas feel in terms of cognitive load and scanability compared to traditional SaaS admin dashboards?
Responsiveness: How the layout and drag-and-drop behavior hold up across different viewports.
Any edge cases or rough edges you encounter while poking around the demo workspace.
Appreciate any constructive critique, thoughts, or suggestions!
