Javascript browser checker and script activator

Hi all,

I have some script which doesnt work at all in firefox or other browsers, and i was wondering how to make a browser checker script which checked if the user was using IE, and if they are, show the script. If not, write somthing else for example "Go to the gallery page to see our pictures". Im not very good with javascript but am good with html and css. below is a copy of the script which does not work in FF. Thanks!!!

Just to answer your question, the content you are trying to write in the document is not well formed. You don't have a closing tag </a> for any of the links.

Different browsers interpret broken tags in different ways. IE, for instance might correct some part of it and display as it should be while Firefox may not. I don't see why you need a browser detection script. But if you really do, a google search on "javascript browser detection" brings up several relevant links.
