We had recently upgraded our IIS 5 to IIS 6 version for better performance of our ASP based portal. After the upgrade we have been facing a strange issue with the portal. When we click the back button of the browser it displays “web page expired” instead of showing the last visited page. This was working fine before the IIS 6 upgrade and sometimes it works on few systems and most of the times it is not working. The client PCs from where we access the portal through web browser and we have “Norton Internet Security” stand alone version installed and is enabled. When we disable the Antivirus for some time it works and automatically it stops working i.e. the web page expiry message comes whenever we go back to the previous history screen. We could not understand whether the issue is with the IIS 6 upgrade or with the Norton Anti virus installation. The browser used is Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.11. Request you all to kindly help us in this issue.
