The macbook outperformed the Dell for everything I did by far. Re: Need a small footprint desktop with decent power Hardware and Software by trcooke I'm a developer too and 14 years ago I bought an entry level MacBook Air and honestly it was probably the best laptop I've ever bought and I used it for development for years and years. It used to creak a bit if I ran more than one instance of IntelliJ, but other than that it took everything I threw at it. I have since replaced my own laptop, but … Is the Vision Pro worth it? Hardware and Software macOS by Dani Is the Apple Vision Pro worth it if I already have an Oculus Quest? I'm not a big gamer, but I have my entire wedding recorded in VR, and I love watching mini-movies and shows in 3D VR. My husband is into things like Red Matter. I honestly don't remember if I have a Quest 2 or 3. Re: Is the Vision Pro worth it? Hardware and Software macOS by Reverend Jim You probably have a Quest 2. My younger son and I really enjoyed Red Matter 2. My goto game is In Death Unchained but I still do a little Beat Saber now and then. I used to use BigScreen to watch movies but now I find the Oculus TV app better as I can easily change the viewing angle, and the warped/wrapped screen is a plus. I can't imagine the … Re: Is the Vision Pro worth it? Hardware and Software macOS by Dani Oddly, you are required to go through an hour long tutorial/demo at the Apple Store before they will sell you a Vision Pro. I haven’t had the patience as of yet. Re: Is the Vision Pro worth it? Hardware and Software macOS by rproffitt One of my sons spent a lot setting up some other VR gear. And then broke his TV playing a game (punched the TV). 3 years later it sits in a box because it's out of date and new models that are worth buying are not worth buying (not going to rewrite that.) For me, not worth it. Re: Is the Vision Pro worth it? Hardware and Software macOS by Dani > some other VR gear Was it not a Quest *or* Vision Pro? I didn’t realize there were any other quality VR headsets on the market. Also, make sure to always play with plenty of space around you. I can’t speak for the Vision Pro, but the Quest is very good at immediately letting you know if you or your arms are approaching out of the gaming… Re: Is the Vision Pro worth it? Hardware and Software macOS by Reverend Jim I usually put a square tile in the middle of the floor to stand on when playing Beat Saber. Eleven Table Tennis doesn't need it because I orient myself to the VR table. I play In Death Unchained seated because there are too many vertigo-inducing places in the middle world where I could easily fall over. Some of them make my feet tingle. Re: Is the Vision Pro worth it? Hardware and Software macOS by Dani I find it vertigo-inducing to be sitting!! I simply cannot handle when what I see simulates me moving (e.g. walking in a room), but my physical body is not moving. It's fine if things are moving around me, but if *I'm* meant to be walking, I need to be physically walking in order to not get sick. Re: Is the Vision Pro worth it? Hardware and Software macOS by Reverend Jim I still get vertigo at times when sitting (like jumping and landing on the edge of a cliff) but at least I can't fall down and crack my head. mini system Programming Software Development by keithlouie.manalon can u give me a simple java mini system,,,plss...for my project po kc penge nlang dn po ng output at codes Mini Project Using C Programming Software Development by vmanojnair Hi , I am doing BE Electronics in Erode. They are small form pc's but you can use Windows on these. Also they seem to be faster. What is everyones opinion. This the link http://www.4xem.com/category.php?category=7. Thanks Ryan Re: Mini Mac Compared to Windows Systems Community Center by TheNSS I would go for the mac mini. It's very fast and reliable, especially since it's running mac os x, which is light years ahead of windows.
