I have done everything in the prepost instuctions; please help
In both Firefox 3 and IE7, I have updated XP to SP3 and IE to v8 Beta. I have installed and ran (AVG8, Ad-Aware 2008, CWShredder, SpyBot1.6, SuperAntispyware, Malwarebytes AM, CCleaner, SDfix, MS Malware tool, and maybe other). I have turned off Restore and ren in Safe Mode. Sometimes the fix will last for one Search but then goes back. The Search results look legite in title and description, but the links take you to crap advertising. I am not having popups. I have spent 3 days on and off with this proble,,,,also, everytime the problem comes back it creates a file on the desktop called "go 10.3.37.0)" its an actual 327kb file not a shortcut. This is a customes PC, it came with this problem running XP Home pre SP1. I updated everything and deleted any extra users....please help...WHAT IS DOING THIS!!! its incredibly persistant..thanks in advance, Brian

Here is my HJT log...

You HiJackThis log is incomplete. We have to see the ENTIRE log from top to bottom. This is only showing Running Processes.
I know you said you have run this before but I would like to see a NEW scan run and then the entire log.
UPDATE Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (MBA-M)
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When MBA-M finishes, Notepad will open with the log. Please save it where you can find it easily. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt.

Be sure to Reboot the computer.
Post back here with the entire HJT log and the MBA-M log.

Did as you said plus a bunch of other scans. I am afraid to try a Search. I wanted to post the logs first. Here they are:

Are you still getting the re-directs? You are also showing at least a portion of Norton antivirus in your HJT log...

O23 - Service: Symantec Network Drivers Service (SNDSrvc) - Symantec Corporation - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\SNDSrvc.exe

Did you previously have this on the computer?
Did any of the logs of the other programs you ran show infections and show them removed?
If so, can you post those FULL logs here? It would help to know exactly what we may be looking for.
Judy
