Hi all,

I wrote a simple app that shows your current location depends on GPS, WiFi, 3G signals, and shows in a Text View the location as city,street, country.

The problem is that I saw that the location is pretty updated with WiFi\ 3G \ GPS, but the Text View does not updating at all !!

I attached my code and I'll be more than happy if anyone could point of the problems in my app.

Sorry for the long thread, I found no other way to paste the code more cost-effective placeŚ„

I am really desperate with it because it prevents me to release some bigger app based on this...

No one knows what seems to be wrong here ? :-(

Just out of curiosity, are you getting your strings on line 181 from strings.xml? If so, you have to use something like this to actually get the strings in question:

tvLocation.setText(getResources().getString(R.string.streetAddress) + " " +  address + "\n" + getResources().getString(R.string.city) + " " + city + "\n" + getResources().getString(R.string.country) + " " + country);
