draughts? lol welcome to daniweb mate! nice game by the way
After chess you can try to tackle Go.
Yeh, thing is I've played GO before, and didn't fully understand the rules. I've heard it is difficult to teach this to computers since its more of a strategic game, whereas chess is both strategic and tactical.
The tactical side of chess is where computers excel, thats why I keep getting beat by my program, but it is not too difficult to beat if you aim to destroy its kingside defense or pawn structure, since this hasn't been programmed in yet.
I was also thinking about connect4 and draughts.
They are both good ideas, I think they would both be easy relative to chess anyway.
But with connect4 I'm not sure of how I would evaluate a position efficiently and effectively.
Any more ideas?
Yes, I've shuffled things around....
