I was wondering how long after I have created 5 posts or more does the full site unlock to me?

Jump to PostIt's not just the number of posts. It's also how long you've been a member. I believe, if memory serves me correctly, you need to be a member for at least 5 days.

Sounds good. Are you a full member yet? The reason for the time requirement is to prevent spammers from just posting 10 really crappy posts just to hit the threshold.
