Hello all! I am completely new to the IT field and have a few questions about getting started. Is an associates degree acceptable to employers? Secondly, what certifications do i need and could these certifications take the place of a degree? Are there books that can be helpful to me? Lastly is the future of IT a bright one, meaning is the job market ok? Like i said I am interested in getting in to the IT field and any help with my questions would be greatly appreciated.
