Creating a web page linked to the database

Hi there im magdeline n im a 3rd yr computer science student at a university of limpopo,South Africa,Northern Province.We've been giving the project to develop a database.Now we have to have an online purchase form so we don't know which application is best for web development?I believe we r going to help each other out.Thank you 4 welcoming me in ur community. :lol:

If your database is made in access then you will have to use ASP.NET, If your database is MySQL, PosgreseSQL etc, you have the choice of ASP.NET or PHP. You will find some good tutorials on the net for using both for connecting with databases
