Hi desperate help needed.

Hi, I have joined this forum because I have no knowledge of computers.

I have been harrassed by an individual on a website by threats, and they have been posting up my personal details everywhere without my persmission.

I have contacted the ICO about this but this seems like it could take a while. The website is owned by one of his friends and they won't take it down.

So want to contact his ISP and put a stop to this by them blocking it.

How do I find out what this guy's ISP is? I only have a link to his username.

Please help someone, as this is getting out of hand.

You want to know who hosts his website, not his specific ISP. Enter the domain name (for example www.google.com) into this site: http://www.hcidata.co.uk/host2ip.htm. Then go to this site and lookup who it is: http://www.arin.net/ . You can communicate with that website about the abuse. Hope that helps
