Hi - I was hoping someone could help me out. Computer is having all kinds of problems...Winfix pop-ups, among other things have basically rendered the computer useless at times. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Hijack This Log is posted below. Thanks.

Please print these instructions out for use in Safe Mode.

Please download VundoFix.exe to your desktop.

• Double-click VundoFix.exe to extract the files
• This will create a VundoFix folder on your desktop.
• After the files are extracted, please reboot your computer into Safe Mode. You can do this by restarting your computer and continually tapping the F8 key until a menu appears. Use your up arrow key to highlight Safe Mode then hit enter.
• Once in safe mode open the VundoFix folder and doubleclick on KillVundo.bat
• You will first be presented with a warning.
  It should look like this

  By pressing enter you agree that you are using this at your own risk.

• At this point press enter one time.
• Next you will see:

  Type in the filepath as instructed by the forum staff
  Then Press Enter, Then F6, Then Enter Again to continue with the fix.

  C:\WINDOWS\System32\mllmk.dll

Delete the files that activescan targetted and you should be good to go :).

Ok - deleted all files noted by ActiveScan with the exception of this one - ->

Virus:Trj/Mitglieder.FK located in Personal Folders\Deleted Items\Business.zip[Loader.exe]

I don't know where I can locate this to delete it.

Also - still having a problem...after start-up, you generally need to refresh internet explorer a number of times before it connects to the internet...not sure if this is related to the above virus or other spyware...

Could you please expand on the problem. Are you having to refresh the page?

Yes - when opening internet explorer - you either have to keep hitting refresh or close internet explorer and re-open multiple times (generally 5 to 6 times) in order to connect

Try running IEFIX.htm which will repair IE and run a System File Check.
