Wanted to open a discussion around scaling backend technical operations.

In the dev space, we often see a mismatch: experienced engineers have high execution capacity (full-stack, AI integration, custom workflows), but lack local business reach. Conversely, US-based independent operators often hold established platform history or verified accounts, but lack the bandwidth or execution team to fulfill heavy builds.

Lately, we’ve been exploring isolated joint-venture models—pairing strong backend execution with existing account infrastructure under formal legal contracts, keeping hardware environment-isolated, and routing payments locally first.

For freelancers or agency owners here:

Do you handle 100% of client execution in-house, or do you white-label backend dev teams?

Has anyone set up structured JV revenue-sharing to monetize dormant or underutilized accounts/client pipelines?

Curious to hear how other devs and operators format these agreements.

Fair callout—let me drop the buzzwords and keep it simple.

The "Product": End-to-end custom software development, web builds, and AI automation for clients.

The Model: We act as a white-label technical execution team. We handle 100% of the project proposals, client communications, system architecture, and code delivery behind the scenes.

Instead of taking upfront agency fees, we run a 30/70 joint venture split with US-based operators who own active platform channels (like Upwork or agency accounts):

Partner (30%): Provides account access and receives client payments directly.

Our Team (70%): Delivers all software engineering, support, and technical maintenance.

We essentially treat idle platform history as leveraged real estate. Just curious if other operators here handle backend scaling in-house or white-label execution like this
