Help, I cannot find my product key for my windows xp upgrade cd

You didn't keep the box that came with the CD?

If you can't find it, then you may have to go and buy another copy unless you can phone microsoft and convince them that you've purchased an upgrade CD.

Use Key Finder or one of the other products (free) you can locate by Googling. Here's the link for Key Finder. You shouldn't need to go and buy another copy, and don't go buy a key finder on eBay.

Go to: http://www.belarc.com/

Install the little application ... and when the report comes up in a browser ... take a look at the "licenses" section to see if your "key" is displayed. Mine shows up.
