You're going to have to be a bit more specific with your question. Contextual ads simply describes the broad category of ads that automatically tailor themselves to the content of the page so that every ad is theoretically targeted towards page content. There are many different formats of contextual advertising ... banners, text ads, etc.

Sorry that I was not clear. I mean when using Google Pay Per Click enabling the contextual ad check box.
