With Google’s BERT algorithm focusing on understanding natural language and search intent, how should SEO strategies evolve to adapt? Are traditional keyword-based techniques still effective, or should we prioritize content quality and user intent more?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Considering Google BERT was integrated into Google searches 7 years ago, strategies shouldn't really be evolving and adapting nowadays. However, I get what you're saying. Traditional keyword-based techniques stopped being effective in the early 2000s. Of course, you should always prioritize content quality and user intent.

As far as BERT Algoritm is being considered, it was primarily designed to improve search intent accuracy for Google. This update focused on understanding long-tail keywords, full-sentence queries, and keywords containing prepositions such as “for” and “to.” SEO strategy has evolved a lot after BERT update. Now a days people are using long tail keywords for "voice search optimization"

Traditional keyword approaches have become outdated. Instead, it is more effective to focus on semantic keywords, which are contextually related to your primary keyword. Utilizing semantic keywords enhances search relevance and improves lead generation.
