I wish I had the answer to that billion dollar question!! It used to be links in blog posts, but now that most blog posts are low quality AI-generated garbage, links within them aren't worth very much since Google understands those articles are churned out without real expertise or a real vote for the link.

The most valuable thing in the age of AI are links within posts that are actually written by real human beings. Some people may disagree with me, but I believe links in forums and reddit posts are valuable, depending of course on factors such as the relevancy of the link and the credentials of who posted it. (e.g. Google can tell when it's forum spam)

PR links are the best. If you can score a link on top news sites, Wikipedia links, etc. then that's going to always be the best.
