do you guys know of any good free web design software? or something with more than 1-2 months of trial period?

I do not want to do something too fancy, so super-complicated software may not be needed.

I would try Aptana studio for serious stuff.
Easyhtml or Kompozer for more easy use and the Gimp for photo work all of these are free.
