I got my Icemat Audio Headset in the mail a day ago. So far I love it, but my microphone seems faint. When I talk into it, I have to hold it right next to my mouth. I have all my microphone settings set to high, but its still so faint. I don't know whats wrong.

go into the volume control

go into recording (options -> properties)

then ADVANCED CONTROLS


click the advanced button under the input source and CHECK the checkbox saying " 1.Microphone Boost"
