I have gateway laptop computer, its relatively new (year old more/less), came with vista. Nice machine.
At first it wasn't a problem as much as it was a thing that happened. I'm guessing the power cord would get into a position, and the computer would say its unplugged. I would reach back wiggle it making sure its in all the way and it would find the power cord again no big worry.
Earlier today, it would find it and then loose it in rapid succession, slowly dieing off. I tried moving it around playing with the cord, making sure all connections of the cord were firmly together. But it would not stop.
Well now the battery is dead and i cannot get it to find the cord for any great length, occasionally it will find it but only to flash the charging light briefly taunting me as it fades away again.
I have tried another cord, same company made it.. i think its the one i need, but nothing from it either.
Is it the power supply? Maybe that thing i plug the cord into? The cord itself?
Help!
