I recently bought a newer pc.
It already had XP on it, as did my old one.
So I didnt bother to change over my HDD.
But afterwards I wanted to transfer some Music & Pictures from my old HDD to my new HDD, but when I enter into the files on the old HDD, all I get is a message saying "ACCESS DENIED".
I can look into everything on the HDD, but it wont let me access "MY DOCUMENTS".
Has anyone had this problem?
I thought XP allowed file transfer?
I dont want to lose my files on the new HDD by "SWAPPING" drives.
I JUST WANT MY PICS BACK????

You have to take ownership of the files:

This would be even easier if you just networked the PCs.
