Re: I have had good luck in these situations by removing the cartridges and briefly dipping them in water. Have a paper towel handy to wipe them off. Otherwise, try the Cleaning/Deep Cleaning option available in the printer options. Be sure to print something at least once a week to keep …
Re: "If it is that easy, why isn't everybody doing it? I didn't say it was easy, I just said it was cheap. The cost is in the fact that you have to learn what to do and how, and then get it done." There's your reason. Speaking of home PC …

Re: I think it's possible, but it doesn't seem to make much sense. The biggest advantage of wireless is the lack of wires, especially when running ethernet is difficult because of distances, walls, etc. If you have a hub, you have solved the wire problem, so get a wireless router, connect …
Re: Read Richard's post again: "What we need is the serial system ID number that appears on screen when you are asked to place in the bios password."

Re: I really hate that program. It's very slow and it's much easier to copy docs and import settings, but... This MS KB article may help: Network Not Working? Here's the Fix.. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/getstarted/bott_fstw.mspx
Re: I have this Netbook, and there's no switch. Is SSID broadcast on? Are the wireless adapter drivers installed? Can you connect via ethernet? Is the Wireless Zero Service running? Have you run the wireless Network wizard?
Re: I'd accept the Acer advice on this one. Crucial guarantees their memory, so just return it and get something else. I had a similar problem on my ASUS board and was able to lower the speed in the BIOS, but I don't know if you have this option.
Re: It's obviously not empty. Dell is trying to keep you out of there by hiding the files. Don't mess with it. You should see an option at boot to change boot options(F2 or F12, usually) select it, then boot to the recovery partition and follow the prompts.
Re: My first thought would be to uninstall the video adapter and reinstall it. Have you tried system restore? Do you have any color profiles installed? Does this occur in Safe Mode? What's the model number?
Re: Your fan is making this noise. Fan speed is controlled by a sensor, and yours is no longer working, so it sounds as though the fan is running at full speed all the time, hence the loud noise. Check the physical connection and clean the fan, but you probably need …
Re: But, realistically: "Why RAID is (usually) a Terrible Idea" http://www.pugetsystems.com/articles.php?id=29 This will make more sense when you've had a couple of RAID failures, as I have.
