Hi can anyone help me,
on power up my pc goes to the 'choose a boot up method' thingy, safe mode, normal mode or last kown good menu, which ever I choose the pc starts to boot up but then goes back to this ?? Its stuck in an eternal loop ! Prior to this I did experience some nonsense with derbiz.com invading the pc and changing my internet home page, I don't know how it got on there. please can someone help, I don't really want to use the restore disk and loose all my work.

If you're using Windows 2000 or XP, you may be able to repair the system by using the Recovery Console available on the installation CD. More info on that can be found in the links in this Google search:
