i have compaq cq61 300sv laptop i buyed it one month before. but i faced problem of charging. when i connect the charger with my laptop it charging for some time but after soon it does not charging while charger is still connected with laptop and showing its connection with laptop by light.i need your help and guidline i shall be thankful to you.

Try taking out the battery and powering it on with just the Charger.

I have same problem in my new hcl laptop.but when ac adapter charger in ON condition reconnected to laptop it charge again.

Are you saying when you are connected with A/C power, it works, and then you can charge by putting the battery in again?
