I'm running a Media 100 on OS 7.5.3 on a Power Mac 8100/100.
It crashed (floating point processor ...) it starts out fine with the smily computer and Welcome to Power Mac, but gets hung up while the application icons are coming up at the bottom of the screen -- hangs up on Quick Time. Please help!!

This is RichardMelody again about the PowerMac 8100/100 crashing. It actually hangs on the QuickTime icon. I was able to get to the Desktop with Extensions off. I've been told to trash my QuickTime Preferences file. In the Systems folder > Preferences > but there's no QT preferences file.

I do see a QuickTime Extensions file.

Now I can launch Photoshop and Illustrator, but I can't launch Media 100. Perhaps I should re-install the Media 100 software? But what's the issue with QuickTime? It does still hang on it while booting up with Extensions On.
