It worked fine until one morning it would not start. When I turn it on it starts the POST process. The slider shows continuous progress until about 95% of the way through when it stops.
I can press F2 or F12 while the slider is moving and the message changes to "Preparing to enter setup" but it stops in the same place as usual. Once the slider stops moving you can no longer bring up the setup option. In fact I cannot detect any reaction to any keypress.
The usual Dell splash screen gives no hint of what the problem is. Does anyone have any diagnostic tips?
