Last night I ran the defrag on my computer, then this morning I ran the scandisk. It seemed that after the scandisk had finished my computer had booted up, and all was well because I saw my desktop. I went outside for about an hour, came back in and my system was off, and none responsive, I try to power it up, and nothing. The only thing that it is doing, is the little green light on the back of my power source is flashing, and it is usually just on steady and not flashing. I removed my modems, disconnected anything that isn't necessary, and still nothing, no fans, no beeping, nothing. Anybody have an idea before I start swapping out parts trying to find out what is wrong?

Try unplugging the computer from the wall and let it sit for a couple of minutes and see if it will reset. Is this light on you PSU? If so, what make and model is it.
