help i am having trouble with my computer there is some problem in it that i cant understand the dvd burner draw is having problems as it will not open when you press the button the first time some times it takes 3-6 presses i know it is not the draw as i have done a clean install to try and remove the problem and it clears it for a short while also having problems with some of the software frezzing any one have any ideas cheers :idea:

You weren't clear so I'll have to assume some parts of this.
Aside from onboard circuitry, two things influence the CD/DVD drive(s). The system board itself (mobo) and any app. that is accessing the drive such as WinExpl.
Did you try cleaning the read head on the drive? older and/or well used drives need this from time to time.
If you post again please provide some outline as to the system hardware and any progress.
