Hello everybody!

I'm new to the board, and I figured this would be the right place to ask this question before I go waste money on somebody to look at my computer for me. I have a Compaq Presario SR1315CL..I've had it almost 2 years, but I have just run into a problem. I went to restart my computer because it froze on me, but when it rebooted, it stays on the Compaq screen! I can't do anything to it, and I blindy never made a recovery cd. The mouse and keyboard won't work either, so I can't attempt to do system restore by pressing F10. I plugged the keyboard and mouse into my cousin's computer, and they worked just fine. I cleaned out my fans, and everything, but it's still not working. Could someone please tell me what's wrong?

Start your computer, if it stays on the compaq screen without cursor. Restart it then you will now see a cursor on the compaq screen then press F10 to enter setup. Set to default settings.
