I have two problems with my older (i.e., 4 years-old) Dell Dimension Desktop...can you give me some direction?
1) System battery low - can I replace it? on the motherboard? where do I get the battery?
2) WORSE - some video memory is blown and I get color strips and little boxes of color on the monitor - diagnoses reveal some video memory is down...is this on the motherboard or the card. I can easily replace the card, but where is this memory?

I'd like to salvage this machine. Can anybody help?

go to computer retailer to get new battery ,usually a cr2032 for video card ,cheaper to buy a new one
