try googling for winsock fix
also try using dialafix to reinstall windows update

Thank you fellow "Wall Enthusiast" for the suggestion. Currently trying a windows repair install... again. Keeping fingers crossed that that will work. Will try the dialafix after the repair to try to get my updates working again.

yeah repair install breaks windows updates anyway, do dialafix after the repair reinstall, them follow
