about:blank & AOL / HOMEOLDSP

My homepage has been hijacked with about:blank and I can't get into my AOL. I have tried to remove this from my computer to no avail. I ran norton antivirus, and found a backdoor trojan, which was deleted. Then I ran both adaware SE and noadware. Both of them found the HOMEOLDSP files and deleted them, however, my homepage and aol remain hijacked. I downloaded HIJACKTHIS and REGIT and tried fixing some regkeys, but that didn't work either. Here is a copy of my first HIJACKTHIS log and the one after I fixed it. If someone could help me figure this out, that would be awesome. Though I have taken care of problems before, this is getting a little too technical for me on my own.

Noadware may not be helping you much, see this review:

I hope you made a backup of your registry before you made any changes... just in case.

You need to go to Windows Update to get the Critical Updates for your system, this can help prevent some of the problems you now have.

Scan with HJT and have it fix the following entries:

Reboot into Safe Mode

Go to:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM and delete OBGA.DLL

Reboot normally

Download the Hoster from here:
http://members.aol.com/toadbee/hoster.zip
Run Hoster and press Restore Original Hosts, OK, and Exit Program. Reboot.

Close all browser windows, scan with HJT, and post a new log please.

Scan with hijackthis and tick the boxes next to all the following entries, then close all browser and explorer windows, and hit the "Fix checked" button.

Clear out your Temporary internet files and other temp files.
Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel >Internet Options.
Under the General tab click the Delete temporary internet files,
delete all Offline content as well. Clear out Cookies.

Also, go to Start > Find/search > Files or folders > in the named box, type: *.tmp and choose Edit > select all -> File > delete.

Empty/delete the entire contents of the C:\Windows\temp folder and C:\temp folder, if you have one. (Contents but not the folder itself.)

In order to view these files you may have to select 'show hidden files/folders.' Instructions on how to here.

Empty the Recycle Bin.

In Program files you will have a folder called *backups.* This was created by Hijackthis so try to keep them together by creating a new folder and putting both hijackthis.exe and backups into it.
