I'm a novice, so please take it easy on me if anyone can tell me how I should go about fixing this... When I try to open Internet Explorer via the IE shortcut on my desktop or via the .exe file, nothing happens. I get the sand timer momentarily and then nothing. However, I have a shortcut on my desktop which opens up my Yahoo mail, which WILL open up IExplorer. I uninstalled and reinstalled IExplorer to no avail...

Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this?
