That software loads both pop-ups and pop-behinds. It's part of the software. If you don't want them, use different software.

If the program isn't from a mainstream company, its probably loaded with spyware. To remove spyware you can use a variety of programs. Adaware and Spybot are popular choices. I would personally recommend Microsoft Anti-spyware. Update it and run it in safe mode (press f8 repeatedly on startup and select safe mode). By the way, remove that program if it seems the least bit like its not legit. If you can't find an uninstall option for the program, go into your control panel > add/remove programs and look for it in there. Also go into Run > type msconfig > click the startup tab and disable all unnecessary programs.

Hope that helps,

Shane McParland

Shane, it's a "legit" program, but a quick search will show that the software is loaded with advertising. It's how they pay the bills.

lol, I understand how they "pay the bills", and "legit" is a very loose term. Besides, everyone should have spyware protection.

I would personally recommend Microsoft Anti-spyware.

What the heck was I thinking? Ohh yea, thats when this program was actually decent (for the first 2 days it was out). If you are looking for free protection, I'd use AVG Free and regularly update/run spybot.
